asks us to imagine what would happen if a narcissistic psychopath were elected to the White House [and] experience the horror of the world hanging by a thread at a time when only a handful of determined patriots can save us.” — Ron Charles,

Another Patterson classic! Both he and Dubois took us around the world as spies doing good and not so good deeds for our countries. The technology behind this plane, which can fly from America to South Africa in 2 hours, was so believable when we were traveling with Liam in the back seat. I think a sequel is expected in the near future.
This is one of Patterson's best books in recent memory. I'm sure his co-author had a lot to do with it. It really concerned what powers the president has and how they can be abused. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading political fiction. It was exciting and hard to put down.
Loved the political thriller! One of Patterson's best thrillers in recent memory! He kept me in suspense from start to finish. Always love how the chapters are set up! I really hope they team up again to write another fast paced adventure like this one! I'm hooked!
Excellent reading. Fat stepped forward. A true page-turner isn't easy to come off, but the problem with dystopian fiction is that it CAN HAPPEN. As with similar works from the 1960s, there is a lesson here that cannot be discounted.
Patterson and Dubois' latest book had the usual complex characters with an interesting and unpredictable plot. I especially like the attention to detail and interesting facts intertwined with action.

I really liked this book, and then bam! The ending was so unexpected that I was left disappointed. I won't say why, because I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it, but I felt disappointed after I immersed myself in the story.
